Tamiya Semi-Truck Short Speaker Box (41-00130-001)

When building our first Tamiya 1/14 Semi-Truck, a Grand Hauler specifically, we were disappointed to find out the multi function unit speaker is installed where the interior fits. This means you have to choose between a scale interior or scale sounds. Another option is using a mount to install the speaker under the hood, but then you lose the sound quality of having the speaker box. It seemed like there was no good solution. CSW came up with a simple answer...a shorter speaker box which can fit inside the sleeper cab. This gives you both the scale interior and quality scale sounds from the multi function unit speaker. This product is made from nylon so it will last as long as the truck. We've chosen the not design in any mounting holes or locating features because we understand all builders are unique and wanted to give the choice to customize where and how to mount the speaker box.
